Goodbye Vancouver!

Well, the time has come. Pat and I board the plane this afternoon and will land across the pond tomorrow morning! We somehow managed to get everything done - apartment packed, car sold, motorcycle sold, dogs off to their happy doggy getaway spot (Pat's folks in Duncan), and backpacks packed. All that's left is a couple hours this morning to organize a few things and read my Intro to Italian textbook. Ok, so I may not have enough time to re-learn the Italian language, but somehow I think we'll manage :)

So our next post will be a REAL travel post in Italy complete with pictures. For now we just wanted to say goodbye to all our friends and family in this corner of the world and hello to all the friends we are coming to meet in Europe over the next few months. Also, a big THANK YOU to everyone who helped pack us up, offered travel advice, and were generally supportive. You guys are great and we'll miss you!
